Follow-up counselling after leaving the shelter

Follow-up counselling addresses all women and children who have left the women's and children's shelter, regardless of their new life situation. This is offered in the form of personal meetings at or outside of the women's and children's shelter as well as in the form of telephone counselling. Group meetings of former residents are on offer at the women's and children's shelter.

The offer for follow-up counselling is an indispensable, additional area of responsibilities of the shelter's work, which is secured by one of the certified social workers and child care workers. The contents of the follow-up counselling is determined by our principles (see Principles).
